I think that is true for lots of things in life - the energy and excitement contrasted with nervousness and fear. Choosing to do something outside of your comfort zone, putting yourself out there, facing potential criticism and rejection, all while attempting something you’ve never done. Well, that can be a lot and it seems that many people never take that risk.
Heck, I don’t know if I would have taken the risk if I hadn’t undergone this process of writing these letters the way I did. To be honest, part of me believes this will amount to a fat lot of nothing. And then I look around at everything that had to change for me to get to this point, and I remind that doubtful part of me that we are still on the journey. Wait and see.
